Single Malt Whisky - Batch #2
This is the second batch of our single malt whisky.
The Wash, in joint development with Alexander Brewery was distilled twice in our "Alembic" still.
The whisky was aged for a total of 5 years. We carefully handpick the barrels in which we age in. The distillate was aged for 4 years in FIRST FILL ex-bourbon barrels from Jim Beam distillery, then the whisky moved to two barrels:
1. A barrel of cognac from Otard distillery, the barrel was transferred to us after being emptied of cognac that had been aged in it for 30 years.
2. A barrel of brandy in which held brandy of Pelter distillery has been for 6 years.
The barrels were stored in an ancient bunker located in the winery area.
The whisky is bottled at a strength of 51.3%
2,000 Bottles in total.
